Dont want to know, WOT with 0 TM scares me. I dont know what it would do to the trans specially the way I drive... I'd rather be safe with what I got than have to buy a new trans. But by all means go for it when SC gets all the bugs worked out for the 04's and see how it runs.

From all the posts I have read about it the beta testers are going by feel, no one so far from my knowledge has check temps at all outside of the programmers at SC.

I have my 1-2 shift @ 5800. I will have to try it tomorrow and see what it does. I haven't paid any attention. I only raised it 200rpm so the drop in rpm to 2nd would not be as low. The engine doesn't really may any more power above the stock 5600rpm anyway.

I just wonder what kind of kick it will have during that 1-2 shift when TM isn't involved. But you probably don't have to be scared, more than likely it won't be that huge of a difference.

I argued that fact until i consistently seen guys improving their E.T times by .2 in the 1/4mi. The kinetic energy of a mass that size moving forward along with the slight loss of acceleration is going to cause the inertia moving forward much more significant. Thus the feel of a "shift kit". I think the removal of torque management would cause a solid firm shift however, it wouldn't feel as hard of a shift because you would consistently have forward momentum rather than a slight loss in power coupled with a lag in shift response. That's what i think, but i could be as wrong as i was with the powerband shift points too?

mine shifts at 5950 from 1-2 with the SC.... I asked many techs and they all say the same, its better to shift a tranny hard than slip(with some limitations)..... I dont think the programer makers would really allow us to use a setting that would really destroy our vehicles... I know DSP has more capabilities but still with a stock tune theres real no way I can see these companies will allow you to destroy your truck....

You can count me as one of the guys who get better times shifting after the peak in the power band. I have done a lot of 0-60 runs with the shifts set at every possible rpm from stock to the max the SC tune will allow and the best times have always been from running the highest shift points.

Yep same here, although I have found with the diablo on my truck, the 5800-5900 seems to be the "sweet spot" for my 0-60's. Its all about taking it out and playing with it for a while and I have gone through and done a lot of testing and spent a lot of weekends playing around.

Mine shifts @ 5800rpm from 1-2 with no delay. Hits 5800 and shift quickly with no jerking or snapping, just quickly.
