Default Superchips Question for 2002 5.9

I posted this in the Superchips sticky but it appears to have been by-passed. Hopefully someone will see it here and give me the answer I'm looking for. Thanks.

I got a question.. Since I have an '02 with the 5.9 and 46RE, the new trans programs will do nothing for me, right? With that being said, is there any other benefit to buying the 3865 over the 3715?? Or will the 3715 do all I can with my older truck anyway? I plan to purchase one soon but don't want to over spend for new technology that's not going to benefit me anyway. Thanks.

P.S. I was also told that I could get rid of my "Death Flash" with a superchips tuner. True or False??

True, but for the price of the 3815 I might as well get the 3865 just incase I decide to trade my truck in down the road. Are there any updates that benefit the 5.9 or are they pretty much limited to the origional 3 selections? I believe they were 89, 93 and Tow/Haul?

ive got the 3715 and it works great! and im guessin that any updates arent going to be directed toward our older engines imo. plus you can usually pick up a used 3715 pretty cheap i got mine for $150 and i love it...
as far as death-flash, im not sure. there is a sticker on my comp saying its been reflashed from factory but im not sure its the death flash. truck runs great, tons of power, using performance tune...

I got a 3815 on my 5.9. I gotta say its nuts the difference between the stock and the performance tune. Especially when around 50 and I floor it. I get pinned back and the truck just rockets. My stock 0-60 was about 9.5, with the performance tune its down to 8.3. So wait to you feel the difference. I also reset my PCM yesterday and it feels even better now. It's well worth it.

EBAY Sorry I don't poke around the 3rd gen to much. It was a hell of a deal I hopped right on it when I saw it. Make an account over on dodge talk . com. There for sale over there all the time. Most go for around 200 -250. (The 200 is for ppl that need cash fast.) Hell I pick up a set of new headers on there for 325 w fress shipping. Brand new. Dt is great for parts. Df is more of a tech site as I see it.
