Default I was getting some fluids movin

Since I can't drive for another month or so I have been letting my truck run for ten minutes every week. Well I live next to a banks parking lot and I said what the hell I should get some drivetrain fluids moving around.

Anyone who saw me doing this probably thought I was high. I would go forward and then straight back. I did this about 20 times in 4 wheel drive. Then after that I took my tailgate off and swept out the bed of my truck and some little old lady stopped to tell me she has never seen someone sweep out there truck and that she was going to tell her husband to do it because he never cleans his bed out.

Well probably got looks but nothing like when it was a big blizzard I went
to walmart parking (completely empty) put her in 4x4 and was drifting around cart stalls and light poles doing cyclones I was completely oblivious but once I got straightened out and looked at the building about 10 employees where out there watching giving me the thumbs up. Thats my dodge story.

moving fluids around is good, but that's really if your vehicle was setting for an entire season or more. When i parked my Mustang in the garage for winter, it would sit in there from October until March/April without ever being started. Never even worried me and started up instantly every season ans that car was all decked out and supercharged which is why I never started it in the winter months.

My truck when I first got it, sat for over a month before I even used it. When I got home the first night I parked it with 126miles on the odometer. Over a month later, it still had 126miles...lol
My truck sits for 3 weeks at a time all the time. Sometimes I get in it, start it up and listen to the radio.....lmao

yeah I think your taking it a little to far.

Starting ever week or so if you think your battery is going bad.
Other wise your just wasting your gas

haha I did the same thing in the snow up here in CT. I love drifting in our parking lots. I had cops watch my friends and I once. It was great. It was like 12:00 at night in the middle of a snow storm. On the other note I don't think you will need to start up the truck. How long has it been sitting?

You are hurting it more than helping it!!!! You need to let it run for quite awhile to get the oil temp up to burn out any condensation in the crank case. The short 10 min intervals just get it warm, then cool which will cause condensation to form. Either let it sit which will not hurt, or let it run for 45min to an hour at a time.
