How do I remove the cigar lighter socket. The lighter is fine but there is no voltage measured in the socket. I have checked the fuse. It is OK.

 

youll have to take the whole radio bezel off..

Its actually very easy to pull the bezel off. Ive had mine out several times.

 

not that hard...just pull on it an it pops off...

 

do remember there is one screw holding it on before you go pulling it off. the screw is located by the bag holder on the passenger side.

I got the socket out just by turning it and pulling out. There are just a couple of tabs that have to line up with slots on either side of the lighter socket. Had to do it when I installed my cutout switch in the socket.
