Default Pro comp MX6 ????s

I bought a 2005 dodge ram 4x4 hemi that already had a lift kit (not sure how much) Nitto terra grapplers and pro comp MX6 shocks all around. I'm pretty sure they all need replaced but I can't seem to find a model number on the shock itself. The truck came with no documentation and there is not one 4x4 shop within a 100 miles that knows crap about what shocks they are. Is there a secret way to find out what model they are so i can order replacements? I see numbers stamped on them but they don't correspond with any of the 2007 and up MX6 model numbers. thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Mike

Find out how much lift is on the truck( pics would help) than find the right size shocks for the right size lift. Odds are its only a 3" lift. How big are the tires.

Here's a picture if it will help. It's got 355/65R/18s on it.

If you can't find a number, take a shock off and measure it's compressed length vs extended length. Call procomp with those numbers and they'll hook you up with a part number. You'll need to do this front and rear.

Nice truck and definately more than 3" of lift!

Ok talked to Pro Comp and they're telling me it has the 4.5" Pro Comp lift on it based on the few part numbers I was able to grab off the side of the shocks. Does 20" in the front and 29" in the rear sound right? I was thinkin about going with the Rancho RS9000XLs, anyone have an opinion on them?

They're a better shock.

Looks like ProComp's 6" lift. You can order the kit with MX6's, so that's my guess. Bilstein 5100's are a good shock too.

looks like a 6" susp lift along with a 3" body lift (not that this post does anything close to helping you come up with your answers :P )
