Default Why not power steering fluid over ATF4

I'm asking because I have an unopened quart of Valvoline synthetic power steering fluid. Anybody know any reason why I couldn't use it. I'm sure it will mix with the ATF4 but don't want to cause any harm. Thanks

ReDone, he is wanting to use power steering fluid in his power steering. but the rams power steering uses ATF4. personally, if it were me, i would use what the manufacture calls for. there must be some reason they use it, and i wouldnt want to mess it up using anything else.

I think you're right. I'll just put ATF4 in.
