You just told him 2 things you never do when hooking. You never leave slack in the line and you never ever slam the gas. A slacked line has a better chance of snapping, and that can get ugly. Slamming the gas you will start spinning you tires and lose traction.

Yes.

In Ohio we actually have competitions for it. Guys build pulling trucks that are designed for nothing but hooking to other trucks.

i could see building a truck to do it but if you wanna take a brand new truck and tie it to another truck and see how fast you can wreck a 30k+ truck be my guest

I say if it's a daily driver do it on dirt, on pavement unless the other guy is a smacktard he will own you with a diesel unless it has tires from a model A Ford on it

The Highlight of our County fair was the Tug-a-Truck competition. O-H-I-O !
