I did a halfa$$ writeup a while back. It was hard to do a good writeup when you dont have any pictures. When I did my installation, I didnt take a camera to the shop.
This is what mine looks like...
I didnt buy a pre made mount, I just made my own. All I used was 3/4" plate, and 1" plate for the main support beam. I welded it directly to the frame, then used a plasma cutter to torch my front bumper.
I stayed away from Warn, because they are seriously overpriced for the product. Granted, they have an awsome line up. I went with the Mile Marker 12000SI. http://www.quadratec.com/products/92110_110_07.htm
This winch exceeds warn's comparable winch in line speed, and gear ration. Not to mention it is half the price. I have used my Mile Marker many times, and has worked amazing every time.
I have to run, but email me if you have any questions. Bryantloke@sbcglobal.net

I have the Warn Trans4mer on my truck which is rated for a 12k winch. It's not a behind the grill type. The weight of your truck will mean you're looking at 9k winch at a minimum but I would recommend bigger like a 12k based on your weight. You want 1.5 times the weight of the truck for pulling power.
The powerplant is rated at 7.5k. It is a good winch but made for a lighter vehicle like a jeep.
Warn make several good winches. If you don't want to fork out the money for a 12k you might think about a 9000i or a 9500. They also have the Tarbor series 12k which runs about $900. Hope this helps.

Warn and Ramsey traditionally are your best winches. Although I've read VERY good reports on the new Smittybuilt ones. Mile Marker and Superwinch have never gotten good reviews.
I know the Warn Hidden Winch Mount only bolts right on the '02-'05 1500s. But they make the Mopar one on the Power Wagon, so I'd imagine you can get that one from Dodge, but I shudder to think what they'd charge for it.
Short of that, it wouldn't be hard to fab one up or have one made if you don't weld...
