Default Painting my emblems went bad

So I decided to use someones diy on painting my emblems black and it went very wrong lol. I did all the steps like sanding them, using black spray paint, primer and self eching primer to and they looked good from when they were done, but them started to peel away when i went to handle them. Im so freaking mad lol. It took me along time to do. what went wrong lol. what didnt i do. The first pic went ok then chipped lol.

You didn't let them dry long enough. You also probably didn't put enough coats. What brand paint did you use?

I painted mine flat black (No gloss/protection on them) and they are still fine.

Hey, I left them dry a long time.
I touched them with my hand to make sure and they were dry. I went to autozone and used all good products lol. Anyone want to do them for me. I ship them out to you lol.

Too thick of coats, probably only did 2 or 3 coats and they were solid by that point werent they? If you did the coats to thick then they will chip easier than if you go very light coats.
