Default recon taillights?

Hey guys im new here, ill post up some pics of my ram soon. At college and dont have my camera up here.

I have an 08 1500 and i ordered the smoked recon taillights. Ive heard some websites say there plug and play and others say they require re-wiring. Im no electrician here. Ive seen some of you guys have them on this forum. Please can someone who has them on an 08 ram let me know what the installation process is like.

thanks

Default Hey

Hey are plug and play. Just hook them up to the facotry wires and thats all. I have an 07 and want to buy tail lights. I dont know if you know this but ebay has them much cheaper. I know that recon has them for about 330 if im not mistaking. I checked about 2 months ago and you can get the same pair brand new on ebay for 180 free shipping. Thats what im going to do. Good luck.

Well it took me like 5 min. Unscrew the stock ones then unplug the wire. Then plug the Recon light in and then screw that one up and your done.

I bought them straight from Recon with the third brake light. So I paid full price.

haha i think we do. good choice. but I think I might put a layer of tint over all of them. there is no way i can aim my hids on my heads so the layer of tint will help. I will eventually get eye brows

I thought about tinting too. I need to adjust my headlights just havent gotten around to it yet, lazy. I still havent gotten used to the eyelids, but to each his own.
