So the trucks ccoming home tomorrow from the body shop with the new two tone paint on her.

My chrome headlights are now in the black section and I'm gonna change em out. I was wondering if you lose a lot of light with the "smoked" lights instead of the black painted ones?

 

I would definitely go with the black painted Heads. I smoked my other set and thought I liked em but after I painted a set black, I will never smoke another set of headlights.

 

Go with the black housing ones

 

I'd go with black housing one's that have the chrome reflector backs so the bulbs are their best at night. looks better too....IMO

If you smoke them make sure you go with HIDs to compensate, i smoked my head and fogs and i have HIDs in all 4 of them and love it.

 

Go black, put hid's in them, then smoke them still hehe

Thanks for all the input guys. I think black its going to be. I'm posting pics asap of my truck the way it sits today after paint (still one more day till it comes home from the body shop but I got spy photos from outside the bedliner place)
