For the last year we have been looking and looking, and have put in a couple offers on houses only to have them denied. Well last week we put an offer in on a house that we absolutely fell in love with. It's been hard to find anything with good property because we run a horse rescue. When we found the house though there were already two offer in on it but had until 1 business day to put their best offers in which kept it open to anyone. So we put our offer in and hoped for the best. The next day the bank counter-offered only us and we took it. We close in two weeks hopefully. I'm collecting appliances right now and we're planning on carpet and paint for now. Other than that I have a lot of horses to move here and a lot of digging for poles to do.

 

This house wounldnt happen to be in Iowa would it? I swear Ive been in this EXACT house, when I was a cable installer. Congrats looks great!

Nope, it's in Brethren, MI which is about 45 minutes SE of Traverse City. It's on 14 acres which are split to about 60/40 woods/open.

nice only 4hrs from me, i picked up a keggerator last year for 150 with everything it was very nice and made working on the cars aloooot easier

 

Don't put any money into the house until AFTER your closing. The sellers can pull the plug ANYTIME before the closing. Banks can turn around and deny at ANYTIME before the closing.

Trust me. Wait until the closing for anything!
