Mine stays locked. Easier to remember with a bed cover I guess.

I'm leaning towards the manual locking handle just for ease of installation. A power one would be nice though.

The other thing I'm getting that gatekeeper for the hinge and maybe a locking RollBAK tonneau. They're not getting my stuff again!

I have the Bully one off EBay. It works fine, but the keys are really thin. I've broken 2 in my pocket and replacements are not easy to get. At least the tailgate was unlocked when the last one broke!

santa fe hemi,
I am looking into getting one of the power ones..... how hard was the installation? Where does it wire to? Do you have to run it back to a door or under the hood?

you have to run the wiring under the truck to the front and then into the cab through the firewall. you have to pull the side cover of the side of the dash on the driver side and find the right wires and connect them. it also has a quick disconnect on the rear in case you have to take off the tail gate. wasn't that bad.
