Default Are all locking handles the same?

So you might have read that I just got my tailgate stolen, so it's time to bump up the security. I'm looking into some locking tonneau covers to replace my soft one, and also adding a locking handle. If I go on Ebay and find one, is there a specific brand I should look for? Or feature? I don't want to buy one that would be easy to break of course. Just looking for opinions on this. Thanks!

Just another question... what about power tailgate locks? Anyone have one? How do they install electrically? Seems like it might be a pain to wire something for the inside of the tailgate.

I heard of using hose clamps before, I don't remember if it was on here, but that'll definitely slow someone down... especially if you can find one with say a torx or allen head on it.

have this power tailgate lock on my tailgate. was easy to install the only thing was had to call because the diagram gave the wrong color coded wire to connect to. have had it about two years and no problems so far.

I do like the idea of a tailgate that locks with the remote. Not sure I'd remember to keep it locked otherwise.
