Default water spewing from tail exaust

i bought the truck last November, a month later we had a freeze one night, and turns out the dealership, went cheap and used water instead of antifreeze. anyways i put antifreeze in and everything was fine for a few months, but summertime came around and i started overheating. then the final draw came when i tried to add water, but the water was flowing out of the tailpipe, and i do mean flowing, just as fast as i can pour it in. i need help? anyone know what could be wring with my truck?

what engine? sounds like a head gasket or a cracked head, also use of water or wrong coolant can speed up corrosion of radiator and cooling components of engine including head gaskets.

Does your truck still run? And when you say flowing, do you really mean it was pouring out as fast as you put it in??????

yes pouring out as fast as i pour it in. motor size is 4.7. no the truck start at the moment. ive pulled the oil pan, and couldnt find and metal pieces in it. i plan on fixing it myself, but need to know where to start. im thinking blown head, because of how fast the water is spewing out the tail pipe. i just got done replacing the head on a neon so i think im capable of doing it on the ram. i know its gonna be alot harder, but im up for it.

Head gaskets on the 4.7 are known for blowing out.

So is this dealer like, retarted??? 100 percent water not only speeds up corrosion by a thousand times, your water pump wouldnt last very long! Sickens me to even think that there is a half-assed dealer out there that would put just water into a cooling system.
Sounds like you got shafted

Yeah, if the leak or crack is bad enough then the piston(s) would act like a pump and suck water in the chamber and pump it out past the valves.
