You do know the stock carb'd 360 crate engine is 360-380hp, right?

someone posted that same manifold up a couple months ago. there was a lot of good info about it that came up in that thread. if my memory serves me correctly, someone was saying that it didnt show very good numbers at all on the dyno.

So if mine was carbed I could have 360 hp? That doesn't make any sense. I am a power hungry teen that doesn't want to spend 5k on a supercharger.

That intake is made for more of the higher RPM range, where our trucks will not benefit from it at all. There was a post on another site where the guy testing it lost hp with it vs running through the stock manifold.

That being said the one to check out is the mopar Drag Pack Hemi Intake

Should work on our trucks too but I have yet to see anyone install one. Still pricey though

I don't see any numbers on thier site which tells me something is up. i know most of the intakes that were created for my mustang only benefittted the car in the high rpm range and lost out down on the low end because of the length of the runners. I'm willing to bet that this is pretty much the same. Loss in hp down low and the only way to gain up top is to have a high lift cam. i bet with a stock engine, the output is terrible!

No, thats the Ford and GM guys... they get all the performance stuff. I think mostly due to the aftermarket having problems 'cracking' the DCX codes...

It looks like a Carb manifold that has a Throttle body adapter.

That's because it IS. They just went and engineered it to be a bolt in with room for modification later. If it's a high RPM manifold, then it's useless for a QC.
