Default Taurus E-Fan Shroud Install

I've read that people with the taurus E-Fan are installing the E-Fan directly on the stock shroud. Does anyone have pictures of this or a little write up for just this process? I will be installing mine tomorrow and want to make sure I have everything in order. I think installing to the shroud will be a cleaner look and hopefully a little easier to install.

I think 'Teach has a DIY in the FAQ section that has what you want.

I put the Flex-a-Lite in the stock shroud, easy install. Although I know some have removed the shroud with no problems reported, I believe that shroud directs airflow through the radiator much better than if it's removed...

the brackets for the e-fan I made are a little different then in the write up that teach did.instead of making brackets off of the radiator to hold the e-fan.I made them go completely around the radiator and connect to the core support.that way the weight and the movement of the e-fan arn't directly held by the radiator,I also used a little heavier steel for the brackets,on account that's all lowes had at the time.works really well though.then I put the stock shroud back on.I had to cut it a bit to make it fit right. It works really well.the truck stays about the same temp it was with the fan clutch,But I think I have the typical 4.7 heating up thing going on.but it cools down really fast.

So you made the bracket go around horizontally or vertically? I guess it's hard to visualize the bottom bracket, but I guess I'll figure it out when I get to that point.

How does that look with the bracket going all the way around? Got any pics?

Back from the dead, I got my Taurus E-Fan in yesterday and have had the variable controller for some time now. I wouldn't mind seeing these brackets as well . . . if this person still comes on the site.

Oh I've read that thread through and through alright ^^ I was curious about the brackets that wrapped all the way around rather than just supporting the weight of the fan on the radiator.
