Default warm a/c blows passenger side only

2005 Ram 2500 Cummins 4x4 auto..
Yup, Another post on this truck. I am really trying to find good reason to keep this truck and not buy into the "bowtie" group! NO NEVER FORD!!
Anyways.....A/C only blows cold out of driver side, not dual zone, passenger side blows luke warm. Did a search once a while back and someone said it was an electric plastic geared part broken that controls the damper for the heater core!???? how do I get to it? where is it?
Thanks!

Mine does the same thing and I have been told it is the blend door. As said above you have to take the dash apart to get to it. Glad I live in Florida so I don't need to rush and fix it.

perhaps the blower-motor?

I'm not there to diagnose it. If its the blower motor I have left in the California warehouse...think it's $57. Retails about $98-128.

Definitely get it diagnosed first. what other problems have you had with the truck? good luck, let me know if i can help

The blower motor is good....just does not blow cold on the passenger side.. I believe it is the issue mentioned above.
Other issues??? look at my other post......Refraining the "bowtie" page and order a new one!!! All have issues but this one.......hmmmm, well, lets say it is my "10 year project"... AAM axels suck a**.... why not DANA? WTF....Cheap a** ***kers!
Not keen on spending another $35k on another. Gonna drive this ***king dudge into the ground!!

My issue last winter was heat on passenger side, cold on driver's side. I ripped the dash out and found no problems. I flushed the heater core and got heat on both sides. If I had your issue I'd flush my heater core and check my a/c for problems.

I'm going to try flushing the heater core on mine and see if it works.

Blend door. Common problem on late model trucks. They should have never gotten away from the old cable system. Much simpler and less to go wrong. Our 09 Caliber still has cable actuated HVAC and I'm glad.

Default flush heater core

have you tried flushing your heater core yet? If you have cold air flowing I wouldn"t think its a blend door problem. Pump hot water through your heater core for 10 mins, turn the fan on and feel driver-side for heat.
