Default front end squeaking

my 07 ram 1500 qc 4x4 has had a squeak/clunking type of noise in the front end for a while now and I can never figure out where it is coming from. It's definitely coming from the drivers side, I'm almost sure it's the shock absorber itself making the noise. If I go over a speed bump slowly, as the suspension compresses down it makes a loud squeak. Any ideas?? Is it a good possibility the shock absorber is just toast?

My 2500 Qcab 4x4 w/2" leveling kit was doing the same thing, I greased my fittings and it has since stopped.

Try a shot or two of PB Blaster or some other GOOD penetrating oil and see if helps.

just completely removed the sway bar off the truck to see if that was the problem, still same clunk/squeak. Got the front wheel off right now, sprayed the hell out of every pivot/ball joint on the front suspension with penetrating spray to see if it helps. Gonna let it sit for a few and hit it again with the spray

My squeak is coming from where the shock and the control arm meet. The bushing between the two is worn out and squeaking. Still on the to do list.
