Light worries
Hey all. I've been experiencing a lamp out light for about a week now.I've checked them all and their all good.the flashers click fast and my drivers brake light won't go on. If that wasn't wierd enough one headlight is on until i turn on the lights and when I do it goes off and the other turns on. Any Guesses? Thanks
The flashers clicking fast is because of the drivers brake light that is out. Put in a new bulb and your blinkers will be fine again. For the head lights.... no clue, maybe a fuse needs replaced or a connector is loose or something simple like that. After you get ALL your light issues fixed the "Lamp Out" Light will go away.
And by the way, not to sound like a smart *** or anything but.... Your lights cant be all good if some of them are not working, hence the lamp out light....

their all working just not when their supposed to.when i turn on the lights the running lights go on(normal) when i apply the brakes one tail light lights not the other.I've checked every bulb and changed them around eliminating the possibility of bulb failure.I've also taken one tail light assembly and changed it with the other and it gives me the same result. Besides the bulbs All the fuses are good I've checked everyone. anyone else have an idea
Yeah, not sure where it is on the ram with out going outside and looking for it but I have had other cars that the brake lights would either stay on all the time cause the little piston was sticking or they would not come on at all because it was fried, running lights still worked though, flashers were moving faster than usual, no lamp out light though but thats because they were both on older vehicles and not dodges.

Yeah thats about all I can think of other than pulling out a volt meter and tracking down a wire. You said you checked all the bulbs, light connections, housings, wires leading into the lights, and all the fuses. After the brake switch though, I dont have any other idea for you to try, maybe one of the other guys will chime in with something that I forgot.
