I'm not sure when they started on the trucks, but the cars have had the wires deleted for a few years I think.

Alright, well those plugs in the link I posted are the shorty wires. And those are what I am getting for my truck to clean it up.

I knw this is a bad pic but you can kind of see how the plugs are ran on mine right now (and yes the engine bay is dirty)

I think dodge changed it in 06 to the new coil packs. I have the same set up as dune rider. The coil pack covers both spark plugs.

Bingo. All 2006 hemi's got the same straight coil on plug setup (5.7, 6.1, 6.4). The only car that had the mess were the 2005 LX cars.

Mine used to look nice and neat like that, then I added the MSD wires and they didn't fit in the trays because the diameter was bigger. So there was no way to organize them on top of the manifold. I hated the look ever since I changed them, but I'd rather put up with the look of that than run the OEM wires. When I took my old wires off and compared the resistance with an Ohm meter to the MSd wires, there was a HUGe difference. I don't remember the numbers but the MSD's were really low.

Weed said he was going to try changing his to the new style this weekend, I'm curious to hear how it goes for him. Has anyone else done this before? Or am I the first?
