Default steering stabilizer

The search feature must be down for some reason. I was doing research on steering stabilizers but I can't find any for an IFS.

The problem is hitting bumps and the damn 20's are too heavy and make the whole steering sector shimmy.

Anyone find a stabilizer that works on the 1/2T or am I stuck with it for now?

There's something you never see the car magazines complain about, too much steering feel!

But seriously, just from my observations (seeing they are only available for solid axle trucks on the off-road parts sites), it appears that steering stabilizers are only on solid axle rigs. So unless it's a 2001 dodge 1/2 ton and before or if it is 95 and before ford 1/2 ton it won't have solid axels and so it won't have a steering stabilizer.

So basically I don't think there are any avalable for your truck.

I would imagine you might want to replace your tie-rod bushings and check all steering connections.

Hopefully some others can shed some light on the subject.

Probably not a lot of responses because no one is really running this kit yet.

I emailed Fabtech and got the response I was expecting. They have a stabilizer that is built for their 6" lift and it hasn't been tested on stock vehicles. Yet.

woops..... Oh well it was just a guess.

But i could say I was half right I guess because I was only talking about a stock setup. I am not surprised that a lift kit would have it.

Oh well everyone makes mistakes.
