Default Hemi engine swap! finally got it and starting swap, ill keep updating this as i go!

not sure if this post is in the right section, but here it is, so my 02 dodge ram 1500, 4.7L v8, auto, 4wd,short bed, finally blew a head gasket and shot two rockers out from under the cams when it over heated and destroyed a head, so instead of rebuilding or fixing it, cuz it did have a bit over 100k on it, i got a complete 5.7L Hemi engine, trans and ecu out of an 05 durango with 49k on it, so ill be doing the swap, the wiring and knotching the oil pan all myself, and ill post up all the pics and diagrams i can, so feel free to give your two cents or any tips, tricks, dos and donts you have!

heres the trans, i was gonna use my stock one, but i was warned to expect to replace it later due to the extra power and torque of the hemi and also cuz it has 100k worth of miles on it too! oh and sorry i put up the wrong pick, cuz this one has the kmart bag in it, def not intentional!! lol

Yes please do, if and when my engine kicks the bucket I'm not selling my truck I'm gonna drop a Hemi in it. Maybe even a 392 but that will be several years down the road hopefully.

here is the 5.7L Hemi that i bought, has less than 50k miles on it and was adult owned, so i got a pretty good deal for $1300!! should give my old ram a little more power!

yeah i was thinking the same thing about a month or two ago, then things changed when mine actually did have to be either fixed or replaced, but for $2000 being the cheapest 4.7L around here, i just couldnt pass the hemi up, course i have to knotch the oil pan, and splice a ton of wiring, which reminds me, does anyone know of any good wiring diagrams other than a hayes manual for my 05 hemi engine, and my 02 rams stock 4.7 engine wiring, i just need to figure out the wiring changes, thanks

no i havent, darn good idea, i got one of painless's complete universal kits for my old 86 chevy k10, they have some good stuff, but the thing is that the 02 4.7 has every single connector wired into one complete harness, unlike the 05 hemi, which has the two main connectors to the engine from the harness, then spreads to all of the plugs, throttle body, injectors, etc... but ill have to give them a call and see anyways, thanks

oh and sorry the pics arent working right cuz i used my 12 megapixal camera so there not letting me put more than one up, so here the link to my photobucket album i have set up for this project:
