well...had to throw the lamp in the oven yet another time cuz I'm afraid of breakin something. The black housing is all deformed now...lol This sucks. i give you guys credit for opening these bad boys up.

 

this is what im afraid of thats why its not done yet i dont have the money to buy a new set if i fudge them up....mine are smaller tho....and another thing our small one are older and been in the sun longer so the glue might be weahthered more than urs being ur truck is a 08....may or may not be the case....but im atry it soon as i gather my berries.....

 

imo taking apart is not worth the pita they are...

 

i just want black housings... i think mine stick out like a sore thumb...and look odd....

 

you also have an 08, that might be something to think about, our 02-05s have the old school style. i may be wrong but i havent seen anyone attempt this on an 08, maybe they dodge got mad and wanted to thwart our mods?

I did get it apart and the black housing part is all constorted. I'll have to heat it up to mold it back to shape when alll done. I'm not sure what i wanna do with the install. I think I may end up painting the chrome backing because I had to cut a lot off and it will show if I don't fill it in and paint it.
