Default hesitation

hey i have a 2004 1500 with the hemi and when i with it full throttle the truck just revs a little higher but doesnt go any faster and starts to slow down ? any imput on what it could be?

Maybe a fuel pressure issue? Or transmission slipping? When was the last time the truck was tuned up? Any check engine lights on?

I was talking to a guy at work that was complaining his truck was getting 11MPG, then I find out he had a engine light on for 6 months for a bad O2 sensor. So I'm just getting the obvious stuff out of the way.

How long have you had this issue?

truck was tuned up about 4 months ago, tranny shifts perfect,no lights on at all and it says im getting about 16-18 mpg, the problem just started this morning

Go to the FAQ section and look for the thread on recalibrating your TPS sensor. It may help.
