Got Some Questions for you Bodylifters...
I've been thinking of a PA body lift, and have a few questions... i tried the search function using the key words "body lift" and got 1 result.. WTF??
Anyway... I have a factory reciever and since its bolted to the frame, it obviously isnt gunna move with the body so... will i have to cut the brackets off and reweld them on shorter?
and do i have to move the spare tire winch up so it will line up with the hole in the bumper?
what are you bodylifters doin? got any pics? any other helpful tips appreciated!
where are you finding the best prices? the ones on amazon.com for $315ish say they are for 04-0? rams will these fit my 03? whats the difference?
thanks guys..

That's why I never likes a body lift. That kind of stuff doesn't line up and usually the core support raises and the fan no longer fits in the shroud. Saw a 99 F150 with a body lift and the fan was partially below the radiator. Might want to look into this as well before lifting.
I don't have the actual answers that you are looking for, but just wanted to give you another alignment issue to check into. I am guessing that the steering column shaft has enough slide or does it require changing as well?

i know about the fan shroud, i just gotta cut it and the BL kit comes with brackets to mount it up. im not sure if i have to extend the steering shaft but it says it is supplied where needed
as for the body lift... i have never been much of a fan on them, but i plan on running 35's and i know they will fit with a level, but i like a little extra space in the wheel wells. i dont do much offroading, nor do i want to spend the money on a "real lift"

The ram is actually one of the best trucks for lifting! The frame is already tucked up inside the body, so you don't have those terrible frame issues common with chevys and fords.
The tow hitch is a non issue. The kit comes with a nice filler plate, as seen in this pic. Take a look at my sig pic and tell me if you can see any frame showing.
