Default Disable Auto Shut off Heated Seats Ram 2008

Something that just annoys me in the mornings with the remote star does not activate heated seats if they are set the night before. The ignition resets them once you turn the truck off. Is there anyway to diasable this?? It would be quite nice to have a warm seat to go out to in the morning! Any ideas? As if the wires from the back of the heated seat buttons goes directly to the ignition to cause a reset??

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram Laramie

Could you swap the button and replace it with a toggle switch and then run a relay that gives it power when the truck is running?

A wiring diagram would be helpful. Anyone?? Would you just want to cut the wire to the relay.. Mmmm?

I imagine there's a reason for this, maybe so the heating elements don't overheat and set the seat on fire?

What's the difference? The truck will shut off automatically in 15 minutes.

The Alldata info doesn't give the entire circuit which make it a bit difficult, but my guess is that on the fusable locations 1+2, those are both powered by the ignition to go on/off. It would be a bit of work to get it to function the way you want but it is possible. A relay and a few diodes are likely needed along with a steady power source. i would need to see the entire circuit from seats to fuse panel or atleast porbe wires and do some testing before i can say for sure what would work.
