Default Gas Issues

I know people complain about their trucks all the time getting rediculously bad mileage but I got ya beat. I have been filling up from paycheck to paycheck and therefore I can't fill it all the way everytime. I put $20 bucks in yesterday which got me about 10.5 gallons at the pump and today 49 miles later my gas light is already on! WTF!?! Any ideas? Don't even suggest a car, I'll tell ya where you can shove that idea.

Put a brick under the gas pedal - that should help the mileage but it will adversely affect your power!!

Are you sure those numbers are right? With those numbers you would be paying about $1.90 a gallon which seems really cheap for gas.

How long since your last tune up? Maybe you just need to put some good injector cleaner in there like techron concentrate, gumout regane, or redline sl-1. Check your air filter and make sure it's not clogged up. What kind of mileage do you usually get?

maybe the pump turned off too early and didn't give you enough gas. Maybe because of it's own problems or your truck's.

$20 @ 2.69 a gallon = 7.4 gallons.

Unless he got some kind of a deal like they have at some of the stations around here, his original numbers don't add up. Guess we will have to wait and see if the original numbers were actually correct.
