Newbie here lol. Bought a 2005 1500 Hemi Quad cab last Saturday and absolutely love it. Straight piped it today and it sounds good, but it has a little too much "pop" for my liking when I get on the throttle. What do you guys suggest for a muffler to eliminate the popping, have a nice idle and still sound decent when on the throttle? I''d like to keep the single exhaust for now, just get something that I could put in easily myself.

For the best flow without being too loud but a nice sound, Magnaflow is what you want.

 

What model would you recommend? I'd need 3" in and 3" out, correct? Thanks for your help!

 

Check out jegs.com or summitracing.com for Magnaflow choices. You can pretty much just pick one that 3" in/out. They have several choices on there that will work.

There is a nice round one that is 14" long (20" with the pipe on each end)
There are 5" around and 4" around versions.

 

i have the flow master 40 series with single in single out and a 3 inch turn down and it sounds awesome...
