nice looking truck, did you paint them or have them painted

 

I have the stock plastic chrome looking grill shell and i want to paint it black also to match all the black parts and rims on my truck. I dont wanna pay a body shop to do it though. Has anyone done this on their own. and if so what was the process/ what kind of paint did you use?

 

I paid $50 for new grille shell on ebay and $50 to paint it! I dont have the time or skill to paint...

I bought a paintable shell off of eBay and had a local shop paint mine. Also had the ram hole filled. I was told the chrome cowl couldn't be painted.

 

somebody lied to you.

 

It can be painted, you just have to put the time into prep work.

 

Are you series only 50 bucks---I'll take mine to get it painted soon then.
