Default Are power and nonpower lock/window doors interchangeable?

I'm looking at a couple of used dodge pickups to buy. I really want power door locks and windows, but I see some trucks at a good price that don't have these.

Does anyone know if the wiring harnesses are the same for the power and nonpower doors? I'm thinking I could get a truck with no power locks and windows, then get the doors off a wreck with power locks/windows and install the doors. If the wiring harness is the same, i should be able to just plug the new doors into the existing wiring harness and have power locks/windows.

Anyone know if this will work?

i think you could make it pretty easily tho is it that big of a price difference to cover the hassle and costs of buying the parts to make it that way

I think all you would really need is the inside panel motor and wiring harness and you shuld be good to go. I don't think you'll need to buy the whole door

If you take your kick panel off you should see a plug for power doors.

So all the wires are in place under the dash, and the circuit is already wired? Just needs a fuse. If that's the case it would be real easy to add power windows and locks.

my truck doesn't have power locks or windows, and when i took the panel off awhile back I dont remember seeing any leftover plugs, also remember that a truck without power options is going to have a different door panel too. I know a place around here that charges 150$ for an aftermarket keyless entry with the lock solenoids and everything else installed. If your that worried about saving the money the after market kits are real cheap.

My problem is that the truck i want all have crank windows. (well the ones i can find) I just started doing a bit of research to see if i could convert to power with out having to rewire the whole truck. I understand all the parts involved. I thought it might be nice if it was a plug-and-play type deal. I an looking to do all oe parts
