Here's an idea. Put both cats back to back sticking off of your tailpipe and see how it sounds

Im gonna put the cats on as soon as possible and see what that does. I have a new welder I gotta get setup and and run some practice beads on and go from there.

I think you'll be happy with the cats back on. Not sure what yours look like, but the 08 cats are pretty big and flow pretty good.
