What chip do you think is best for performance??
I don't know if I would trust stock "O" rings to hold up to Nitrous. I grew up around drag racing. My dad's car is currently set up for Nitrous, although he hasn't added it yet. It's a '70 Pro Street Nova. Currently he has around 750hp at the rear wheels. I would just make sure you don't let off that throttle while depressing the NOS button, unless it's wired to your gas pedal. That's when Detontation occurs. Maybe I'm wrong.............
I'm thinking that the reason you were told it was safer with a Hemi engine, is cause of the Hemispherical combustion chambers. Maybe due to there unique shape they are more durable with Nitrous.
Also is it a "dry" or "wet" shot? Direct Port Injection?

Ya your right about that. Idk about the rings but have a friend thats been running spray in his truck for 3 years now and no problems. And ya i have it on a full throttle switch on the pedal so it only sprays when its floored. And I have a perg kit that i allways use before i spray. A little air in the lines and it could backfire and blow the plastic intake manifold to peices!
Well, with that setup, yes, you shouldn't have any problems. For some reason, I was thinking like direct port injection, and a switch. Then, you might run into problems.
Do, you know what your actual power gains were? Like on a chassis dyno?

Umm I dont have the dyno sheet in front of me but i will take a pic of it tomorrow and post it up ... It made 408 to the wheels and i dont remember the tor ... And it was on a dyno jet in 95 degree weather just on spray. Havent put it back on the dyno with the other mods yet
I guess Nitrous in small amounts is safe. I have just known a few people who have had big, Boom!, problems with it.
Damn, 408 at the wheels! Congrats!
Just remember that for every 10 degrees cooler the intake air temp is you typically gain 10-20% in overall hp. Which can add up quick with a V8. LOL.
