Default What chip do you think is best for performance??

I have an 04 Hemi 120 shot of nitrous and a few Bolton’s. Im looking into getting the comp 273 cams, springs, and retainers but i need a programmer with this setup.

I dont know much about the programmers for the truck but my main concern is raising the rev limiter, the tranny shifting, best combination with the nitrous, and obviously power increase.

Does anyone have a similar setup? And what chip do you recommend?

i dont have a setup like yours, but im very happy with my Superchips Cortex. It'll take care of rev limiter, shift points, gear swaps, tire swaps, and alot more.

http://www.airram.com has the best pricing i've seen on these, ordered mine and had it 2 days later

I had my PCM. flashed in my trucks and i love it, like night and day. D.C. Performance in CAL. did it for me. You have to tell them all your mods and they will flash for it. It was $650.

I have a Hemi ... How does that work tho? Do you have to send out the ECU to them every time you add something to it? Or can you adjust it yourself?

Thanks for the info BTW ... Your SRT10 looks sick in your sig!!!

You have to send then your PCM. and they will flash it to your mods. Open the hood and it will be on the left side on the fire wall. when i install a S/C in the SRT-10, i will have to flash the PCM agan. I think what you are calling a ECU. is what i'm calling a PCM.

K, maybe this doesn't apply to hemi engines with Nitrous......but normally on an engine with nitrous you need to either manually retard the timing, or do it with a programmer. Or at least that's what I thought. Thinking the reason was, detonation......LOL. I was thinking nitrous myself. But, with my internals being stock, I'm not ready to chance it yet.

Ya i was worried about that to but I was assured by 2 tuners that tune all my brothers race cars that I shouldnt have detonation lol ... Havent had any problems yet. And as for the stock motor as long as you have it set up right and dont abuse it it should be fine these motors are pretty strong. Im more worried about the tranny braking before hurting the motor.
