If you do it right, it's good. IF you do it to hot, it's bad. I do a 200 shot. My system can go to 300 shot, but i wont do that.

Do you think about the concept of nitro in a pull off or is it the wheel stand at the start line?

go with the sct tuner from krc performance, it is a little pricey, but marty is excellent, i am running a modded out 4.7 with a 125 shot of nitrous, sct tuner was the only tuner that would get my truck running correctly, and like most tuners, you can get updates of the web

Does anyone have a similar setup? And what chip do you recommend?
Here is the thing about your truck (and mine since we both have 04's) If you are going to run that setup you will need a custom tune. So you are going to need a SCT or DSP tuner. But, if you go with either of those you are not going to have trans control, so you won't be able to control the trans shifting like you mentioned you want to do.

Now I have a question for you. What type truck do you have? Short bed, long bed, quad cab, single cab, 4wd, 2wd?

I have a 2door short bed 2wd ... Its prob the best truck body to set up for going fast because of weight. Lettle traction problems but there ways to fix that and just learning how to drive it the right way.

So is there another way of playing with the tranny if I went with one of those chips?

You could always try a shift kit or the resistor mod but that will not change your shift points or rev limit so I don't know if that is what you are looking for. The other option which some guys have done is stack two tuners on top of each other. A SC for the shifting and then a custom tune from SCT or DS.
