Default DMH Cutout: Would anyone be interested?

Friday I am having my FM 40 muffler installed on my truck and I am contemplating having the exhaust shop remove the electric exhaust cut-out while it is in there. I paid $199 for it brand new, but I would be willing to sell it cheaper than what I paid for it. I most likely will not be able to salvage the wiring though because I have no idea how to detach that kind of stuff, and the switch is already hardwired into my dashboard. If anyone is actually interested I will have the unit removed Friday.

Honestly, I just don't ever use it. I don't like how it consumes the cab so much so I just stopped opening it up. Seems like a waste of money to have it just sitting there while it's still practically new.

How hard was the wiring, is it something I could set up on my own without the actual wiring that you had come with it? could you at least cut the harness down at the cutout for me to splice into it?

removing the wiring is easy. It's one solid wire that has 2 connected ends. How hard could it be to pull the wiring out?
Sure cutting both ends and leaving the main wiring there is easy, but that is just crazy to do.
HERE is a link to DMH's website showing the wiring harness.
I'd say you'll loose too much money if you chop that up.

Get rid of the wiring, it takes all but 5 min to disconnect everything. and is a really simple. It'll get you a little more for the sale price if everything is included and the person you sell it to doesnt have to go out and buy the wiring for it.

Removing the wiring is easy and having it to go with the cutout is going to make people more willing to buy it.

So what number muffler is this for you now, 3rd?

I didn't install the wiring, I had a radio shop do it for me. I just wasn't sure what it would take to get the wiring out since it's connected to the switch that goes through my dash? The switch came with the kit, and I don't plan on removing the switch since it will leave a hold in my dash if I remove it.

And actually, this will be my fifth muffler lol (flowmaster super 44, flowmaster 50 HD, stock muffler, magnaflow, and now a flowmaster 40 delta flow.
