ok ok ok I dont know what the H*LL I was thinking but I posted this at like 3 in the morning!! Well i had a few and came up with this!! Thats why it looks like that idk what I was thinking its going QUICK!!! WOW Dont drink to much and work on your truck thats all I say!

Man, Spectre has a lot of intake parts that you could make your own custom intake with. I know that AutoZone down here carries most of their stuff "in stock". Just go with that man, or you could just buy an FIPK system or a Volant CAI system, if you had that kind of money to burn. But the "do it yourself" spectre stuff ain't bad equipment. It will definitely look better.
Although what you got doesn't look bad........but the rubber hose after all that PVC has to go. The problem I see with that is if you have a good seal and that filter flows a lot of air the PVC will stand up to the vacuum that's created, but that Rubber stuff has the potential to colapse. I would just remove the rubber stuff and continue that PVC all the way up to the Throttle Body.
Oh yeah, paint it black........or at least, roughly, the same color as your truck.
Just my .02. Your off to a good start though. A lot better then mine. I'm still working with that massive black box and intake tube. Got me a K&N though. Gonna get the Volant as soon as my bank account will allow it. LOL.
