Bad bouncing on freeway...
Hey guys, drove out to Cali yesterday and as always whenever I hit around 70-75mph the truck seems to be excessively bouncy. Not that I'm boucing all over the road, but i'm bouncing all over in the cab. I'll look at everyone else in other cars/trucks to see if they're bouncing even close to as much and nobody seems to be. What could be causing this??? I'm pretty sure the tires are balanced. Maybe the shocks going bad????

I was thinking about going Bilstein 5100's, but wasn't planning on that untill i did the 4" lift spindles in the front. Would they still be the same length? I dont want to buy 2 different sets, that would suck.
There's nothing else you guys can thinnk of that may be causeing this? Someone told me i had 3/4 ton springs in the rear, could that be it?

You may have an add-a-leaf but I don't think 2500 springs bolt up to a 1500?
Easy enough to tell if you do, but your 2wd would be jacked in the back and slammed in the front. i would say your truck rake would be sunbstancial. I know the 2wd's dive in the front, but add-a-leafs would make it worse.
Spindle lift would utilize stock shocks, so there won't be need to change to diff. shocks, but i wouldn't go through the install twice. When you do shocks, you'll need an alignment. WHen you do spindles, you'll need an alignment. Just wait to do it at once. that's your best bet. maenwhile, start gathering parts little by little.

Although I'm far from an expert on 2WD suspension, spindles wouldn't change the arm height, so you could get shocks now without having to repurchase later.
I doubt you have 3/4 ton leafs, they are not a direct bolt up and would require a little bit of fabrication to swap to.
Only thing I've gotten to date was a t-shirt from Superchips, a few years ago when I bought mine, I un-installed it on my truck and let guys try the tune out on theirs for a couple of days. I think out of the five guys I let try it, three went ahead and bought one. I mentioned this on the SC forum and they asked for my address.
A commission check? Nope, just a lousy t-shirt. LMAO!!!

I'll put up pics right now, but yeah that makes sense about them not bolting up. I dont know much about trucks, i'm usually a car guy. So Monroe would probably be the way to go for a smoother ride? The Reflex's quality is good? Again, i'm used to dealing with companies like Tein, Koni, JIC, etc...
