ive got a third gen ram, and i love the front console where the storage stray and cupholders are, and im wanting to build a center console for my 04 ram.

does anybody know where i can buy just that insert so i can mold it into my console? ive been searching around but i cant find it anywhere

what? what i gathered from the postee is that he owns a ram with the console and one without? wants to know where to get just the console?

 

i own an 04 ram, which in that year they did not offer this type of center console. im building a custom center console box with a sub in the back, and i wanted this part off the newer rams to mold into the front of the console, since im gonna have it flush with the dash and lose the stock cupholders

didnt mean to post it in the 4th gen, not sure what i was thinking

 

those were on 06-08 rams

 

yea, i just need to find a website where i can buy that part, so far no luck on any mopar parts websites or ebay

moparpartsamerica has the megacab style console that mounts on the floor, which i dont mind if thats all i can find, i just prefer the other style, which i couldnt find there

 

Been down that road before. If you buy the console through the parts dept at your local dealer the entire console cost over 1K. Funny, since it was only like a $500 option........

If you're just looking for that one in particular piece you can probably get that for less then an arm and a leg through your local dealership. It couldn't cost that much, well it could.....but it shouldn't LOL>

 

have you tried looking in junkyards for a possible wrecked truck of that year?
