Well, I wasnt supposed to be buying wheels or tires until maybe next summer... BUT... i found a good deal, and i DONT pass up a good deal

I got them from a guy on here, and have to drive about 4 hours down to Illinois to pick them up.

They werent my first or second choice, but I figure since I'm getting them for about half price of the first two, i might as well jump on them...

They are BLACK 18" Rockstars (I know everyones got them, but I havent seen any around here) with 35" Nitto terra grapplers with 2000 miles on them...

I'm pretty excited, now i can crank my T-bars, and maybe after christmas get a body lift! But they should clear with just the T-bar crank...

Anyway, I think my truck is gunna look bada$$ all black (except the hood)

What do you guys think? Think my rig will look alright with this setup? I know some dont like these wheels, I was on the fence myself... so lets not start a bashing war

By the way, I got him down to $1000... the tires are almost worth that much!

Im a little worried about spending that kind of $$ since I'm going to school so in a way this thread is to help make me feel a little better too

as for the hood... we'll see what spring brings, but i see there is a spot of rust in the corner where i wetsanded the scratches out... musta got a little deep...

 

I don't think you can go too far wrong if the tires are in good shape for that money. Take or leave the wheels,but I think they will look good man, go for it if you like them I have about $1500 in my wheels and tires mounted and shipped to my door from www.ntwonline.com

 

should look great im still swing that you should get a bed stripe or hockey sticks or some other silver graphic to balance the hood....the hood can be a easy fix just pick up some paint and hit it with it....easy and the right way of coarse

 

heck, even if you end up not liking the way they look on your truck, you can always sell em on craigslist for more than you bought them for, and put that money towards what you really wanted.

Or sell em to me. lol You got me jealous on that deal. I was actually just pricing new ones with tires, around 2k with regular tires. I bet it'll look pretty awesome on your truck. Congrats.

 

rockstars are the sickest wheels out there, just sux that they are so damn heavy. ull def notice a difference in acceleration IMO

 

Hey, Good for you. I really like the rock stars and the tires your getting. I wish someone near me offord me that price. I would deff go on it. Post some pics later when you have it on truck.
