Default Can someone help me out with the overhead computer?

Hey guys I wanna let you know that I don't have a Ram but I do have a dakota and I belong over @ dakota-durango.com/forum and I just purchased a overhead console on ebay from a 2005 ram. I plan on hooking it up to my truck when it gets hear but I would like to know if anyone has a FSM or know what color wires do what. Here is the wire layout I received from the seller:
The computer harness has 4 wires coming from it.
- white with purple stripe
- pink with blue stripe
- red
- black with white stripe

the light pigtail has 3 wires coming from it.
- black
- yellow with blue stripe
- yellow with a faint silver stripe
Thanks for all the help guys!

What year is your dakota? You have to get a overhead comp from a vehicle running the same com bus. The signals are not analog, they're digital.

I tried to hook my overhead comp (2007) into my buddies truck (2004) and it wouldn't communicate. The plugs were identical. The problem was that we were running different com bus'.

Still not completely sure what your after,

White/Violet if the Data wire to your computer
Pink/Darkgreen Is the Main power, Turns the console on when your truck is on.
Black/White is ground
and Red is the power from the battery so you don't lose memory.

B/W= ground my black wire ground
I should have one I splice into dimmer and ignition
