Default I about punched the guy when....

He said he could level out my 2007 Ram 1500 2WD and prob. only got me a half inch! This shop said they do levels all the time on Rams and this particular truck caused them problems. They put a 1.5" spacer into the coil springs and that didnt do anything. They then got me new shocks and a shock extenders to see if that would help and it still sits 37" in front and 39" in back (measuring from flat surface up to wheel well). I mean come on guys!!! I went in there 3 times and left my truck for 3 full days and I am still not satisfied!

Has anyone else had this kind of trouble with just a level?? Any advice to what I can suggest to this shop about getting the proper height in the front or is this just a lost cause with this year, make and model of Ram??

Please help!

Yeah, find you a different shop!!! They obviously don't "do levels all the time on Dodges" or any other trucks for that matter. Basically, installing a coil spacer is like putting a washer on a bolt. There is nothing that could be wrong with YOUR truck that would make that process not work.

If you want to drive across the state, I got a deal with a local 4x4 shop here, gives better pricing than normal to anyone I send there. They are kinda slow to get started on things, and tend to WAY overbook jobs, but the quality of their work and labor prices are excellent.

why not just do it in your driveway? seriously, it's not hard if you are willing to learn something new.

It turns out that we (the shop and I) are going to order Daystar 2.5" spacers instead of the 1.5" that are on it and see how that works. Some guys on here said it leveled or even made nose higher which I find hard to believe.... What inches are you guys running from flat surface to wheel well. I am 37" front 39" back. Just want it level dangit!

Daystars are good spacers. You sure these ying-yangs ain't installing them upside down, making the top of the spring/strut sit inside and not on top of the spacer?

It should take about 2-2.25" to level your truck, so 1.5" should have made a noticeable difference...

If they installed a 1.5" spacer and it didn't lift the truck, they put them in the wrong spot or something.
I agree with the find another shop idea before these clowns screw something up!!
