Default K&N MDS issues?

I have an 08 hemi with the MDS and need to replace the air filter. I have been told that the oil in the filter will prevent the MDS from working correctly, is this true what experiences do you guys have with similar setups. Thanks

Just get the dealer to a recalibrating flash on the flux capacitor and you'll be good to go.
