06 Ram fuel pump runs w/o key
A separate fuel pump realy is no longer used. A circuit within the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) is used to control the electric fuel pump located within the fuel pump module. The TIPM (1) is located in the engine compartment in front of the battery.
If its like my 08, it may not be cheap or considered under the PCM warrenty. If you pull the whole fuse box up you'll notice several connectors. On the right side (the side that is against the battery, there is a line of connectors. The bottom one is the fuel pump circuit. Mine may be different though using the CAN protocol. idk if the 06 models used it or not.
Well, I called a couple dealers and spoke with some techs and they all confirm what wolfie said. No relays, the TIPM controls the fuel pump and has no replaceable parts. The TIPM is 520$ and has to be flashed to the truck (2.5 hours labor). It's at the dealer now. I will let ya'll know what happens. Thanks for the help.
