That is factory what you see in that pic, so you are probably OK, or "normal". After getting my 09 it was one of the things I looked at on the 3rd GEN and said, wow, that was bad. It does make it easy to wash and wax in there though

Note, I have seen where people put on bumpers and they were not "level". Meaning the 3-4" long gap between the fender and bumper on the sides is not completly parallel with each other, and yes, that looks like crap if that is the case.
