Default accessory delay

My understanding is It is supposed to allow me to close windows and moonroof with for a short while after I turn the key off. However, I can't figure out how to enable it in my 05 or even if it is an option. I keep seeing refrences to it but nothing more than that. I have looked thru the manual and the service manual, but can't find much about it.

Anyone have any info on this? Maybe I don't have it because I don't have the Sentry key system? Any thoughts would be great.

sorry i just went and checked to see but i guess it was my 08 that the stereo stayed on. my 04 is a laramie sport so if it doesn't have it stock it's probably not an option. the only thing this truck doesn't have is a sun roof. check this site out to see if it can help you.

Damnit, I called a friend of mine who runs a dealership and found out it is an option, however, the onlyway to enable it is with the damn starscan tool. This will be the 3rd time I wil have had to hook up that friggin starscan.

I am really getting tempted to just buy one and start renting it out to people. I really hate having to goto the dealership everytime I want to change any little friggin thing. And worse they want a friggin 40 bucks every stinkin time.

They are over $3000. You better have alot of needy friends if you want to recoop the cost!!
Would be nice to have one though!! My stuff in the truck stays on for like 10 min if I don't open the door. My 07 Grand Caravan only last about 45 sec and the Wife's Caliber is about a minute or so.

Seen them go for as little as 1800 on ebay, This one is BIN for $2000.

However, I was just venting, would really be waste of money to me.

That is a steal for 2000. I have seen them brand new for 6-7K. My dad worked at GM for years. He said the System scanner they had was unreal. You could go in and reprogram body serial numbers, radio, engine, etc to make everything match. GM dealers didn't even have access to them.
