Many guys who've done the cooler thermostat thing in northern climates routinely switch back to the regular one for winter. That was a standard thing way back when I was a mere child growing up in upstate NY back in the 80s...

To add to this thread, since you are running the DSP on a 93 tune, adding the 180* T-Stat may richen it up to much. After adding LT's on mine with the DSP on the 91 tune, contrary to what I have read about adding headers with a tuner I am running rich. After searching around on a few different sites, I am not the only one who is running rich after installing my LT's with a DSP, while others running the same headers with a superchips are running lean.

It's pretty much a guessing game unless you have a wide-band or a shop to go to. I have the luxury of being only about 5 miles from one of the highest regarded Mopar performance shops there is for the half of the year or so that I'm in florida.

I'd not be messing with ANY mod to adjust A/F ratios unless I knew exactly where it was to start with...

Thanks for the input guys, I think I will stick with my stocker for now, maybe replace with a fail-safe one or something. Is the stocker a failsafe?

Just leave the stock one in there. You'll be happy and warm.
