Electric door lock problem

My driver side does the same thing...I took the panel off to check it out and see if a latch had come undone or whatever, but the only one I could see was fine, so I just assumed that the motor is bad...I can't see ANYTHING behind the metal where the motor is, so I didnt even want to think of how I would replace that motor lol

The dealer can disable the auto lock for ya.

Its really not that hard to change out that latch assembly unless youre a really big man with huge hands. Im 200 and wear a size 9 wedding band and did mine

I also noticed this last night.... You know when you open the driver's door the dome light comes on? Same for all the doors right? WRONG.... all of them except for that same door, forward passenger... could this be a wiring issue then? I can still roll the window up and down...... where's the switch that tells the light to come on? Is it in the door latch assembly too?

It could be the door circuit switch in it is bad.

cool.... I dont know what that is, or where it is... haha. Is it in the latch or like a relay somewhere?
