Default 2004 Ram Brake change Question

I want to go bigger tire and I have been seeing so many deals around my area for 36's or bigger, the problem is everything is on a 16" rim. No i know the 2nd gen rams have 16" rim clearance and new dodge can only go as low as 17". And i know the odler dodges still had 5 bolt, so i was basically wondering how hard would it be and can you even swap over all the brake components from a 2nd gen ram onto a 04 ram that way i could clear 16" rim? Cause i have 33" super swampers on 20's right now but want bigger and found some 38" swampers but 16" rim but really cheap so i jsut wanted to know if anyone knows if this is possible or not.

Thanks

i'm sure it's possible, but you are probably going to have more money stuck into the brake swap than you would in tires for a larger wheel....
and IMO its not a good idea to go to a smaller size wheel, especially when you are going to be running bigger, heavier tires

Thats true i guess its jsut its so easy to find 16" tires and rims haha there like a million and i found a guy that would possible swap me a set of 35" tsl boggers on 16" american racing rims for my 20" rim and 33" irok super swampers, plus i like the looks of more tire then rim haha, my 33's you dont see much tread from far even though they are deep jsut cause the tire doesnt have a side wall. I was thinking of downsizing to an 17-18" rim at least but i was jsut interested in if this swap was possible thats all because like i said tons of 38's and such for a 16" rim, cause i can get all the parts from a buddy for it, just didnt feel like ripping things apart if it wasnt possible.

Thanks
