Default Jet Chip Module and super chip

Okay guys is it possible to install a jet chip module and plug in your SuperChip to your vehicle still?

And if it is possible is the performance noticable??

How are those E3 spark pluges, they worth 8 bucks a plug?

O yea whats the difference between

LT Headers

AND

shorty headers

Besides the price???

I cant say much about the jet chip cause ive never really heard about it but from what i read on the site its for more extreme modded vehicles, if your just running exhaust and cai then the superchips is more then enough, no point wasting more money.. As for the plugs, just run NGK copper plugs, there cheaper and the truck likes them more.. and your headers, well one set is shortys so itll bolt right into the truck and the other set is long tubes, you'll need to make a custom y-pipe and exhaust all the way back or run tru duals.. either way its not a bolt in thing..

I had the same question about the jet module. SC told me it was a waste but I'd like to see if anyone on here has any other opinions so consider this a free bump.

I stacked the chips on my 5.7 300C. No noticable dif. Superchip is much better product.

Stacking the jet chip with a superchip would be like putting dog poop in your turkey. Throw the jet chit away.

As for the headers, check your emission laws first. The LT's will give you more power throughout but are 100% illegal IF your state emissions include a visual inspection of the emission system you're screwed, Shorties though are legal and have good gains just not as good as the LT's.

For plugs I just use the standard copper ones.

I have heard way too many horror stories about Jet chips frying PCM's to even think about buying one. Besides, chips are 1980's technology!! SC or DSP is they way to go!!

if you hollow them out you will throw a cel code. It wont hurt anything but you'll need to get some spark plug non-foulers to get rid of the cel. However that also risks the emission testing as well. If your state does a sniffer test without the cats there doing their job you will more than likely fail that test. Also with mine the noise level with no cats was just horrible and the lack of bp was just not what i wanted so we opened the cats up to match my header/Y combo, 3" in/out, and now I'm loving it.

Hollowing cats is a bad idea. I added area in the empty cat actually causes turbulence and causes a restriction. Just leave them alone.
